a)    All postgraduate examinations shall be held twice a year in the months of March & September of every calendar year.
b)    After the Thesis has been approved by Expert external examiners in M.S & M.D part II and by the Advanced Studies & Research Board, for M.Phil & M.P.H, the studentsthen theywill be allowed to appear in final examinations.
c)    Candidate must have completed mandatory workshops as a pre-requisite for final examination.
d)    Every candidate shall forward his / her application duly filled to the Controller of Examinations, along with the prescribed examination fee on or before the date announced for this purpose by the Peoples University of Medical & Health Science, Nawabshah.
e)    Whenever the examination form is received after the prescribed date, the candidate shall pay an additional late fee provided that the application is received before the last date fixed for receiving.
f)    A candidate who have qualified for the final examination, shall be required to sit in any of the four scheduled examinations, else he/she shall not be allowed for taking that examination and shall have to seekfresh admission to the course.
g)    Any Postgraduate candidate for degree courses who fails to pass the final examination within seven years of completing the course shall not be allowed to sit in subsequentexaminations.
h)    Any Postgraduate Diploma candidate who fails to pass the final examination within five years of completing the course shall not be allowed to sit in subsequent examinations.
i)    Theory examination shall be conducted at PUMHS Nawabshah centre where as oral and practical parts of the examination shall be held in the concerned department of PMCH Nawabshah
j)        Clinical examination will consist of table viva, TOCAS, OSCE, OSPE Short Cases and Long Cases. Each examiner has equal marks.
k)    If any external examiner is unable to conduct the clinical [viva voce examination, due to some reason from approved panel of examiners. The Vice Chancellor can appoint an other examiner from approved list of external examiners for the said examination.
l)    Final examination (theory papers) will be conducted in the months of March & September of each calendar year and will be held simultaneously in all disciplines of MD/MS at University.
m)    Theory and practical examination will carry equal marks unless mentioned otherwise.
n)    A candidate is required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in each components of same protocol will be applied for practical examinations and aggregate marks must be 60% to be declared as qualified / successful.
o)    The candidate should appear in four consecutive examinations after completingtheir training.
p)    The Candidates who have passed theory part shall be allowed to appear in subsequent consecutive practical examinations on payment of full prescribed examination fee.
q)    Fees deposited for a particular examination will not be carried over to the next examinations in case of withdrawal/ absence/ exclusion from the examination.
r)    The result of successful candidates shall be notified by the Controller of Examinations/PG Section.
